Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. Her birth date was December 13 1989. Her discography includes many genres. The songs she writes, which are frequently influenced by her own personal experiences, has received high praise from critics as well as extensive media coverage. Swift was born in West Reading and went to Nashville to become a country musician at the tender age of 14. Swift who had left Big Machine, signed with Republic Records for her seventh studio album Lover (2019) which followed it up with the autobiographical documentary Miss Americana 2020. She ventured into indie folk and alternative rock with her albums for 2020, Folklore and Evermore, whose singles "Cardigan" and "Willow" topped the Hot 100. After a dispute over her masters Swift began to re-record six of her albums. She released two albums in 2021: Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red. "All Too Well (10-minute Version)" by the latter album became the longest Hot 100 song. All-time streaming records were broken by Swift's 2022 album Midnights and her single "Anti-Hero". Swift has also directed music films and videos like All Too Well, The Short Film (2021) and performed in supporting roles. Swift is one of history's most-selling artists, having sold over 200,000,000 records around the world. Swift is the highest-rated female on Spotify and the only artist to have five albums with over 1 million copies sold in the US. There are 12 Grammy Awards for Swift, including three Album of the Year win nominations and the Emmy Award and 39 Billboard Music Awards. Also Swift holds the record for 92 Guinness World Records. Swift is included in many prestigious rankings, including Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Songswriters of All Time and Billboard's Greatest of All Time Artists. Swift has been awarded the titles of Artist of the Decade as well as Woman of the Decade. She is a strong advocate for women's empowerment and rights for artists.
