Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson, an American musician, producer and singer is also a writer. Most famously, she is known for her role as Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and performed in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as the bride in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson born 8 January 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. She has a younger sister Danielle Benson, who has a career as an artist. Benson attended the Reform Jewish synagogue while growing up. Her mother is a Southern Baptist and raised Jewish through her father, is too Jewish.
