Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born April 16, 1996, at Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist is a half-Spanish and the other half is English. His father, an native of Argentina with Scottish and English heritage is her mother. Her mother hails from Spanish as well as English heritage. Taylor-Joy was born into a clan with six kids. Four of them are siblings who were born from the same marriage as Taylor's dad. She lived with her family at home in Buenos Aires from the time she reached the age of six before they relocated to Victoria, London. Taylor-Joy said the move had been traumatic, and refused to study English as she wanted to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she switched from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. After she turned 16, she decided to leave school to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy was a young actress who knew she would become an actor. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
